Alanya’s Nightlife; Is it Safe? Is it Entertaining?
Live Music, Salsa, and Latin Dances, English Live Music, and Turkish Traditional Live Music are inseparable parts of Alanya’s Nightlife.
In terms of categories:
A few bars and beach restaurants close to or in city center host dance students for a couple of days each week. Students dance Salsa, Bachata, Kizomba and similar other Latin dances such as Tango, Argentina Tango, etc. People who arrive at the restaurant can join in the dancing or can just enjoy watching. They sometimes do some group dances that people can join them and easily learn how to do the moves by looking at other group members.
Some other beach restaurants always have live music every night and they usually rotate between different genres such as Jazz, International (English) live music, Turkish, Traditional, Country, etc.
There are some places that specialize in Traditional Turkish Music and every single night they have skillful artists playing and singing old and new Turkish songs.
All clubs are open from the first few days of March until the end of September and some of the clubs are open all year long, even in the middle of February. Your teenagers also can arrive into the clubs since there is no ID check at the entrance on the majority of the clubs. The area is very safe and always monitored by security and local police.
In terms of safety:
It’s always recommended to look for the reviews online for each place you go to make sure that’s the type of place that you like and other guests also are in your type. But it’s just about the environment and the people you see. In terms of actual safety and security, everything is always monitored.
Have fun, be safe, and enjoy your night in Alanya!
